What is difference between SAT Biology E and M
Biology E is about biological communities, populations, and energy flow. Biology M is about biochemistry, cellular structure and processes, such as respiration and photosynthesis.
If you are considering a Biology major, you should SAT subject test Biology to demonstrate your interest and strength in the subject. It is important criteria for the admissions test, if you are considering top college of your choice.
There are two types of Biology tests.
Biology E (Ecology)
Biology M (Molecular)
The differences between these two are explained below.
- Take Biology E if you feel more comfortable answering questions about biological communities, populations, and energy flow.
- Take Biology M if you feel more comfortable answering questions about biochemistry, cellular structure and processes, such as respiration and photosynthesis.
For students with deeper interest in science, Biology M is more suited.
For students with interest in English, history, Biology E is better because it goes into, populations, communities, ecosystems, biomes, conservation biology, biodiversity, effects of human intervention
You can take either of them depending on your strengths. Whichever you feel more comfortable with, that is the one you should take.
